Iyengar developed the use of props such as blankets, belts, blocks and chairs to help students understand a pose and it’s benefits. As your practice deepens you will learn different types of asana including standing, seated, forward bends, backward bends, inversions, and twists.
All Iyengar yoga teachers undergo a rigorous teaching program which lasts for many years so you can rest assured your teacher has many years of experience.
