About Iyengar Yoga

Iyengar Yoga is a safe, progressive way to learn yoga that’s suitable for all types of people, and all levels of fitness.

It is based on the teachings of Guruji Bellur Krishnamachar Sundararaja (BKS) Iyengar, one of the world’s most respected yoga teachers, and author of the celebrated yoga guide “Light On Yoga”. Students are taught focus and subtlety through asana (the physical postures) and pranayama (breathing).
